Do your employees need training for basic skills?
Adult Education is not just for high school equivalency diploma achievement. We adjust curriculum to work with employer needs and help students with basic skills training for employer-specific hiring tests.
"Stultz" Staff Leadership Graduates
All services are funded by federal, state, private, and local community grants to provide FREE services to all participants- including employee training!
Funding provided by TN Department of Labor and Workforce Development, local community, and private grants via the Rhea County Adult Literacy Council. No fees will be charged to the employer. We cover all costs including:
- Customized curriculum and exams
- Classroom supplies
- Laptop computers
- Textbooks
- Paid instructors
- (Some) OSHA certifications
- Workplace safety understanding
(Specifically for ESL participants)
Financial literacy for the workplace can be included in conjunction with the employer's HR office. Specific days of the week & shifts vary to suit the needs of each employer. Basic Skills Assessment test provided prior to training to assist employers with vetting participants.
